Our Simulator

Utilizing a flight simulator is a cost effective, reliable, and efficient alternative to flying an aircraft. SimClub’s new Flight1 Tech Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) is equipped with the Cirrus Perspective+ G6 avionics and is approved for flight training and currency. If you’re looking for a quick solution to knock off some rust or maintain your proficiency, consider scheduling your next session with us!

Flight1 Tech Simulator

  • PiIots want to be able to use a simulator to log time toward an instrument rating, to maintain IFR currency, to complete most of the tasks in an IPC, and to log time toward the Commercial, CFI, CFII, and ATP ratings. If customers are looking for a more ATC driven experience, they may choose to incorporate PilotEdge into any session and utilize their library of both VFR and IFR scenario-based training on our AATD.

  • Pilots and flight instructors have recognized that favorable results are obtained when an AATD is utilized in preparation for any flight. Our AATD enables pilots to remain proficient and current all year long and tackle each new flight with confidence. SimClub by Kilo Sierra encourages pilots to apply proper procedures and practice work load management in real time with live ATC through our PilotEdge subscription.

  • Here at SimClub by Kilo Sierra, we do not charge membership fees. Pilots can rent our Flight1 Tech Simulator for $125/hour (PilotEdge included), and are welcome to bring their own instructor with them.

PilotEdge

  • PilotEdge is an online service that allows our sim users to interact with Air Traffic Control and other pilots. ATC services are provided in real time by real people as you practice with the simulator.

  • PilotEdge allows you to practice a host of great scenarios, including the following:

    • Bravo/Charlie/Delta transitions

    • File and receive an IFR clearance

    • Call for a pop-up clearance

    • Practice instrument approaches under VFR or IFR

  • PilotEdge currently provides ATC coverage across the western half of the United States with over 2,800 public use airports in the covered area.

Pictured coverage map is marked with towered airports. PilotEdge service area is highlighted in yellow.
